Jewelry, Yarn, and Whimsical Creations

My jewelry is a unique twist of the traditional. With a degree in Art History, I am attracted to the visual history of jewellery and using its elements in my pieces. I work with wire to fabricate and forge. I often use knitting and crochet to create forms which I then embellish with semiprecious stones, glass, and Swarovski crystal for light. I like to push the boundaries of jewellery form and create the unique and unexpected. I have added crowns and tiaras to my work, as I enjoy the sense of pageantry and history they evoke. I find my work is always evolving.
